The incumbent would be responsible for material planning, sourcing of materials, negotiating & developing vendors and ensuring optimum inventory levels and high availability of materials for production. Should be able to defy time against requirements. Obtaining & evaluating vendor quotations, negotiations of rates, placing orders, follow up on indents & purchase orders ensuring timely, quality delivery shall form integral part of the role. Ideal person would be from transformer or associated industry with proficiency in purchasing, excellent written communication skills with ability to communicate persuasively and credibly. Strong negotiating and problem solving skills. Proven track record in devising and driving successful purchasing strategies. Experience required 10-15 year
